Hermetic Optical Fiber Feedthroughs

Hermetic optical fiber feedthroughs are used to maintain containment while allowing optical connections to pass through glovebox equipment. They are commonly utilized in industries such as semiconductor manufacturing, pharmaceuticals, and research laboratories where controlled environments are essential. Typical buyers include manufacturers and researchers who require reliable optical communication in sensitive applications.

Buyers should confirm the connection type (female–female or integrated fiber core), mounting options (direct bushing or ISO-KF40), and the specific optical type required. Additionally, it is important to discuss the minimum order quantity (MOQ), packaging requirements, and lead time with suppliers.
